Terms of Service

The Service

HonePrompt rewrites rough ideas into model-specific prompts for AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, and others). We return optimized text prompts only — we do not generate images, video, audio, or final AI output. You are responsible for how you use prompts on third-party platforms.

Current plans and limits are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice. As of the date above: one free demo hone without an account; verified accounts receive a monthly free allowance; paid Pro plans include additional hones and the Chrome extension.

Acceptable use

You agree to use HonePrompt lawfully. You must not:

• Use the Service to create prompts intended for illegal, harmful, abusive, or hateful content
• Abuse or circumvent rate limits or authentication
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or extract our systems or prompt configurations
• Use bots or automation to access the Service without permission
• Resell access to the Service without our written consent
• Attempt unauthorized access to our infrastructure

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

Accounts and billing

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe and renew monthly until cancelled. You may cancel through Stripe or your account settings; access continues through the end of the paid period. We generally do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.

Prices and hone limits may change with reasonable notice. Business and team plans offered at honeprompt.com/business are subject to their checkout terms in addition to these Terms.

Chrome extension

The extension runs on supported third-party sites at your direction. It communicates with honeprompt.com to optimize prompts you choose to submit. Use of those third-party sites remains governed by their own terms.

Your content

You retain ownership of prompts you submit and outputs we return. You grant us a limited license to process your input solely to fulfill your request. We do not claim ownership of your prompts.

Intellectual property

HonePrompt’s platform, branding, and methodology are our property. Optimized prompts we return are yours to use on any AI platform, including commercially, subject to the policies of those platforms.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. We do not guarantee specific results on any third-party AI tool. Those platforms operate independently and may change at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time. You may stop using the Service at any time. If we terminate a paid subscription without cause, we may refund a prorated portion of the current period at our discretion.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
